Farmer's blend is tribute to the hard working farmers and the cooperatives helping to make our relationships with the farmers possible. Our partnering with Cooperative Coffees has dramatically enhanced our understanding of where our coffees come from. Cooperative Coffees has made it possible for us to personally know the people who grow our coffee and the processes involved.As we begin cultivating relationships with our farmers, we are ever more enlightened to the reality of their lives. Committing ourselves to Fairly Traded coffee is one great way to make a difference. In times of natural disasters, political unrest and other cases, even Fairly Traded prices fall short in supplying farmers with the income needed to provide their families with basic needs. For these reasons, we are trying to provide more back to the farmers and their cooperatives so that they can better their circumstances. Through your purchase of Farmers Blend, we donate a percentage of the proceeds directly to the farmers we feel are most in need.
